Old Dominion University Football Coach Bobby Wilder on the new stadium

Old Dominion University Coach Bobby Wilder brought his team into the field at the new S.B. Ballard Stadium for the first time a couple of weeks ago. There were a lot of wide eyes.

Coach Wilder has been touting the new stadium to recruits for the past several years, and it will be even more impressive when recruits enjoy the game-day experience.

HEAD COACH - OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY

Bobby Wilder coached 13 seasons as head coach at Old Dominion University. Wilder, the only coach in program history, grew the football program from the best FCS start-up to an FBS program in just six years and an FBS bowl champion in eight years. Wilder was a successful recruiter for the Monarchs, a track-record marked by landing now NFL-starter Taylor Heinicke into the ODU program. Before ODU, Wilder coached 17 seasons at the University of Maine where he also was the star quarterback in his playing days.
